A Synopsis of Paper 134: The Transition Years

After spending a few months visiting with his family in Nazareth, Jesus worked for a year as a driver on a caravan traveling to the Caspian Sea. During this trip he visited an amphitheater in Urmia that was used as a temple of the philosophy of religions. Teachers at this temple represented over thirty religions and religious cults, all of which believed in a supreme Deity.

On Jesus' journey home from the Caspian Sea, he gave a series of lectures in Urmia about the kingdom of God and the kingdoms of men. Jesus taught that the kingdom of heaven is neither  material nor intellectual, but rather a spiritual relationship between man and God. Religious peace-brotherhood-will not exist until all religions surrender ecclesiastical authority and accept God alone as spiritual sovereign.

He discussed how political sovereignty arrives from the surrender of self-determinism; first by the individual to the family, then the family to the clan, and then to the tribe and the state. Patriotism makes the evolution of a government of all mankind difficult. 

Jesus said that confederations of nations may reduce conflicts, but war will continue until the world government is created. War is not a disease, but a symptom of the disease of national sovereignty. The problem of war cannot be solved by armaments or disarmaments; men will continue fighting with fists and stones as long as they cling to the delusion of the right of national sovereignty.

He taught that mortals cannot live together in peace without becoming subservient to laws that grant each person a degree of freedom while safeguarding an equal amount of freedom for others. The political sovereignty of a representative government of humankind will bring lasting peace on earth, and spiritual brotherhood will forever insure good will among people. This is the only way that peace on earth and good will among men can be realized.

The following year, Jesus' family moved to Capernaum. After visiting their new home, Jesus  traveled much of the year through Palestine and Syria. He spent six weeks on Mount Hermon, communing with the Father and consecrating himself to the remainder of his life's work. During this period of isolation Jesus became absolutely assured of the ascendancy of his divine nature.

Near the end of this time on the mountain Jesus requested a conference with the rebels of Satania. Satan and Calagastia, emissaries of Lucifer, suggested many compromises and proposals. Jesus responded by saying that they had already spurned his mercy; he committed them to the judgment of the Ancients of Days. The Lucifer rebellion was settled.

When Jesus came down from Mount Hermon he met with his family again in Capernaum, and then traveled to Jerusalem with John Zebedee for three weeks. After this holiday he returned to Zebedee's workshop, saying, "It behooves me to keep busy while I wait for my hour to come." Jesus worked until January with his brother John, building boats.
