Urantia BROTHERHOOD BULLETIN
July 11, 1967

The second Triennial Delegate Assembly will convene at 10 A.M. on August 4, and continue through August 5, 1967. This assembly consists of one Delegate from each of the Urantia Societies. These Delegates will elect twelve new members to the General Council to fill the positions of the twelve Councilors whose three-year terms expire, and will also fill any vacancies that have occurred in the Council.

On August 6, the General Council of Urantia Brotherhood, including the new members, will hold its Triennial Meeting for the purpose of electing officers, committee chairmen, and commmittee members. This session is open only to the 36 Councilors.

While only the Delegates or Alternates will participate in the Assembly, most of the sessions will be open to all members of the Urantia Brotherhood. When the Delegates are working in committees, programs will be presented for all others who are present. In addition to these sessions, there will be an evening reception at 533 Diversey Parkway to which all members and friends of Urantia Brotherhood are invited.

We are enclosing a program which we hope you will keep and bring with you, if you are planning to come. We would appreciate hearing from any out-of-town member who is planning to attend so that we may have some idea of the number of visitors to provide for.

"Clyde Bedell's Personal List of References" is proving very helpful to those who have acquired it. It includes such things as "mankind on the march", auroral displays, the "missink link", Easter Island, and many other hard-to-find favorite passages. It also serves as a base for adding your own favorite passages if he has omitted them. The price is $5.00 and it all goes to the Urantia Foundation for the second printing of the book which is now under way.

The following have become approved members-at-large: Mrs. Corinne Locking, Marquette, Michigan; Dr. and Mrs. Robert W. Myers, Newton, Kansas; Mr. Ralph D. Dart, Oakland, California.

The following societies have reported the election of new officers: First Urantia Society: Mrs. Mary Lou Hales, President; Arthur M. Burch, Vice President; Miss Eva Vincent, Secretary; Mrs. Helen Carlson, Treasurer. Urantia Society of Glenview: Harry Rowley, President; Burton Harris, Vice President Miss Loraine Lloyd, Secretary; Mrs. Donna Rowley, Treasurer. Orvonton Urantia Society of Chicago: Alfred Leverenz, President; Miss Olga Unverzagt, Vice President; Clifford Wooldridge, Secretary; Thomas Kendall, Treasurer. The First Urantia Society of Los Angeles, California: Mrs. Julia Fenderson, President; Bruce Davison, Vice President; Mrs. Georgia Gecht, Secretary; Mrs. Helen Steen, Treasurer.

AND don't forget our happiest meeting of all, Monday, August 21, at 8:00 P.M., when we come together at 533 Diversey Parkway for our traditional celebration of Jesus' brithday. Bring your friends with you.
