Urantia FOUNDATION

February 14, 1990

Mr. David N. Elders, President
Fifth Epochal Fellowship
529 Wrightwood Avenue
Chicago, Illinois 60614

Dear David:

In your February 1 letter, the Fellowship proposed a meeting to discuss topics of common interest. The Trustees of Urantia Foundation believe that such a meeting could be useful in seeking to work out ways for us to cooperate on practical levels. These discussions, however, must be separate and distinct from the March 9‑10 meeting of your organization's Executive Committee or any other internal deliberations of our two organizations. In other words, representatives of Urantia Foundation and representatives of the Fifth Epochal Fellowship could meet and exchange views at a mutually convenient time and place.

The first step is to develop an agreed agenda. We suggest the following topics:

1. Restoring friendly relations between our two organizations.

2. The participation of members of the Fifth Epochal Fellowship in:

a.  The library placement program.

b.  The bookstore consignment program.

C.  The development of study aids in print, electronic, and audio‑visual media.

Please feel free to propose other subjects that may interest the Fellowship. We would note, however, that Urantia Brotherhood Association will be responsible for distributing The Urantia Book and for referring new readers to appropriate Urantia Societies, study groups, and individuals located in the same general area. These activities will be among the Association's primary tasks; they cannot be delegated to or shared with independent organizations which are not entitled to use the marks under license from Urantia Foundation.

Sincerely,

The Trustees of Urantia Foundation
